I had a great time photographing Lindsey and Logan's engagement session.  We started at my studio in Fremont and then photographed around the neighborhood.  We captured their images during sunset and twilight and I really love the warm light at the beginning of their session.  Also be sure to check out the image of them in front of the outdoor cinema at twilight.  Below are a few favoirties and a slideshow.

Megan and Jeff were married in a beautiful ceremony at Suncadia Lodge in Cle Elum, WA.  I first met Megan when I photographed her sister Kelly's wedding last summer.  I was already booked when she contacted us but our associate photographers were still available.  Jonathan and Peter told me that they had a great time photographing the wedding, and the reception was a blast.  Within 15 minutes of it starting the dance floor was packed.  A few of my favorites and their slideshow are below.  Congratulations Megan and Jeff!    

Ceremony and Reception: Suncadia

When Jen and Dan booked me in the summer of 2009 I was already super excited for their wedding.  Their big day took place at two of my favorite venues in Seattle, St. Ignatius Chapel and Sodo Park.  These locations were an incredible back drop for a day filled with love, excitement, a few nerves and tons of laughter.  The ladies started the morning getting ready at the downtown Seattle Sheraton.  Meanwhile, the guy's were getting prepared at a gorgeous mansion in North Seattle.  After an emotional first sight at St. Ignatius, we captured some really fun and dramatic images before the ceremony.  Then we were off to Sodo Park for the reception.  It truly was my honor to photograph their wedding.  The first image on the post is one of my favorite images I've captured all summer.  A few select photos and their slideshow are below.  Congratulation's Jen and Dan!

I first met Kitty and Alan when they came into my portrait studio, Creativity Loves Company, to shoot an image for their New York Times wedding announcement.  One week later I was photographing their big day.  They are such relaxed, welcoming and fun individuals that I was sure I would have a blast shooting their wedding, and I did.  Kitty started the morning getting ready at The Fairmont Olympic Hotel.  After a couple of glasses of champagne we were off to The Lakeside for the ceremony.  It was a gorgeous Buddhist-inspired event officiated by one of their close friends.  Afterward, the reception was kicked off with a number of touching toasts.  Their slideshow and a few select frames are below.

Susan and Nathan's wedding was a blast. They are such open and fun people.  I had a great time getting to know them and their family and friends. The morning started with the ladies getting ready at the Red Lion hotel. After a few images around downtown Seattle we were off to the Scansonia. The clouds pared as we arrived and the weather turned out to be gorgeous. After a beautiful ceremony the festivities began. My favorites and their slideshow are below.
