Russian River Wedding – Nikki & Graeme

There are so many things to love about The Russian River wine region of Sonoma. The sweeping views, the buttery chardonnay wines, and of course the wedding of Nikki and Graeme. Their wedding took place at the Winner’s Circle at Vine Hill Ranch. This magnificent private estate sits on 60 acres of vineyards growing pinot and chardonnay grapes, and boasts 360 views of panoramic views of the vineyards and surrounding valley. Typically weddings are not allowed on this property, but our groom’s family owns this impressive private estate, which made it the perfect choice for their intimate wedding with 50 of their beloved family and friends. Even though they live in Cincinnati, they share a love of traveling, food and wine, and of course the California wine country. The Northern California weather couldn’t have been more perfect for their wedding day, and the images showcase not only the property, but the love they share for each other, and the affection their loved ones have for them.

Private Napa Vineyard Wedding – Elizabeth and Logan

Elizabeth and Logan are lovers of fine wine and cuisine and there’s no better place to find both than in Napa. Their romance began at Duke University and their wedding took place in the Carneros area of The Napa Valley. A vineyard is the perfect choice since Logan is an executive for One Hope Wine. The vineyard they chose is Brown Ranch. It’s a private vineyard, but their connections in the industry allowed them to secure the location. It was a blank canvas that required everything be brought in. Under the direction of planner Marilyn Ambra, it turned out beautifully. The backdrop for their ceremony, the decor, their family and friends made this a great day and a great wedding to capture through my lens.

The ceremony took place just outside of rows of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines, with a spectacular view of Carneros behind the couple. Guests and the couple arrived by golf carts to this secluded spot. The privacy and intimacy of the ceremony site made for a one-of-a-kind celebration with family and friends.

Napa Valley Engagement Session | Julia & Wade

We had a perfect fall day to photograph Julia and Wade’s engagement session. We started their photographs at Far Niente winery and then proceeded to a gorgeous view point high above Napa Valley. For the second part of their session we went to Regusci Winery where Wade had initially asked Julia for her hand in marriage. I had such an amazing time photographing and getting to know them. Congratulations Julia and Wade!
