In true Seattle fashion, rain prevailed on the day of Voula and Vasili’s engagement session. However, this did not dampen our spirits as we began our shoot at the stunning Seattle library. The modern architecture and dramatic light proved an amazing backdrop for their images. As the weather cleared, we went to Gas Works Park. We had just enough time to catch photos with the beautiful Seattle skyline before the rain came back. Toward the end of the session, with the rain pouring down, we decided to venture out into the middle of the storm…which is when I captured my favorite shots of the day! AMBER & EARL | DESTINATION WEDDING | MAUI SHERATON | MAUI, HAWAII
Hawaii is a very special part of the world. I have frequented the islands for years, and I always leave refreshed and inspired. Amber and Earl chose Maui (The Valley Isle) for their destination wedding. Guests traveled from afar to bear witness to their union set in a lush background of tropical paradise. The festivities started with a boat ride rehearsal dinner, which included whale watching, mai tai’s and a delicious dinner. The wedding was held at the Maui Sheraton on the Kaanapali Coast in West Maui. After the intimate ceremony we captured images on a breathtaking cliff overlooking the ocean. The light was amazing and made for memorable and dramatic photographs. Dinner and the receptions followed. The day after the wedding, we met at the Wailea Fairmont and captured a few more portraits before heading off to Secrete Beach. Take a look at the rest of the story below! Jennifer & Preat chose Gasworks Park in Seattle for their engagement session. The colorful industrial structures and amazing city views made the perfect backdrop for their images. We had a great time shooting at such a unique location. I am very excited for their July nuptials at the Future of Flight. We had such and incredible time working with Melissa and Scott! It was such a joyous day; filled with countless emotional moments, gorgeous details and a very wild and crazy reception. The morning started with the ladies getting ready at the Alexis Hotel in Downtown Seattle. The groom and groomsmen got ready at the grooms home. We captured images at the Seattle Arboretum before heading to St. Mark’s Cathedral for the ceremony. The reception followed at Sodo Park. Congratulations Melissa and Scott!

Annie and David are an incredible couple. They have a chemistry that is palpable and we had a such great time working with them. Their wedding was held at Robinswood House in Bellevue. The wedding told the story of their romance , from the Moroccan Riad where they first met; to their cross-Atlantic courtship; to Seattle and their present life here. After a gorgeous outdoor ceremony, a cocktail hour and dinner followed. Congratulations Annie and David!
SARAH & RYAN | ENGAGEMENT | PIKE PLACE MARKET & PIER 62 | SEATTLE, WA

Sarah and Ryan chose the Pike Place Market for their Engagement Session. To them, its a place for food, romance, and fun! Ryan is a chef, and often buys fish from the market for his restaurant. We decided to head down to Pike Place Fish for a few photos. The staff even let Sarah behind the counter to catch a fish (see below). After, we went to Pier 62 on the waterfront, where Ryan actually proposed to Sarah. It was incredibly romantic to capture a few images on the exact spot where he asked her to spend their lives together. Enjoy my favorite photographs from their session below!

Cindy and Sam’s Wedding was one of the most unique weddings I have ever photographed! Beautiful paper flowers and bouquets, Lego boutonnieres, the groom’s delicious home brewed beer, the amazing ceremony book arch, to name a few. The morning started with everyone getting ready at the Hyatt Olive 8 in downtown Seattle. After Cindy and Sam caught their first sight of each other, we captured a few portraits, hopped in a limo and headed to Sodo Park for the ceremony and reception. When I first met Ashley and John, I knew they were destined to be together. This was further confirmed after we had an incredible time shooting their engagement session at Snoqualmie Pass. Ashley and John’s wedding was held at a private residence on Fox Island. The waterfront setting with 100+ year old orchard was the perfect setting for their gorgeous summer wedding. I had an amazing time working and getting to know Trupa and Krish during their 2-day wedding. They are such loving, caring and kind people. The wedding ceremony and reception were held at the Hyatt in Downtown Bellevue. The day was filled with so many photo opportunities. I had an especially good time photographing the incredible dancing at the reception. Kate (my associate photographer) and I left the wedding energized, even though we had just shot for almost 15 hours that day and several hours the day before.
