Cindy and Sam’s Wedding was one of the most unique weddings I have ever photographed!  Beautiful paper flowers and bouquets, Lego boutonnieres, the groom’s delicious home brewed beer, the amazing ceremony book arch, to name a few. The morning started with everyone getting ready at the Hyatt Olive 8 in downtown Seattle.  After Cindy and Sam caught their first sight of each other, we captured a few portraits, hopped in a limo and headed to Sodo Park for the ceremony and reception.  Two Buck Chuck played the sound track for the reception, and everyone had an incredible time.  Take a look at my favorites and the rest of the story below.  Congratulation Cindy and Sam!

TRUPA & KRISH | WEDDING | THE HYATT  | BELLEVUE, WA

Adjectives: Colorful, Fun, Beautiful, Open, Loving, Dramatic, Honest, and Unique.

I had an amazing time working and getting to know Trupa and Krish during their 2-day wedding.  They are such loving, caring and kind people.  The wedding ceremony and reception were held at the Hyatt in Downtown Bellevue.  The day was filled with so many photo opportunities. I had an especially good time photographing the incredible dancing at the reception.  Kate (my associate photographer) and I left the wedding energized, even though we had just shot for almost 15 hours that day and several hours the day before.  Below are my favorites from their gorgeous Indian Wedding.

ANDREA & TONY | WEDDING | FAUNTLEROY UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST | DISCOVERY PARK : DAYBREAK STAR INDIAN CULTURAL CENTER | SEATTLE, WA

Adjectives: Open, Natural, Playful, Real, Romantic and Fun.

Tony surprised Andrea on Christmas morning with one last present… the promise to spend the rest of their lives together!  One month ago, on a beautiful July day, they celebrated these promises with their closest friends and family.  The ceremony was held in West Seattle at the Fauntleroy United Church of Christ.  Tony and Andrea chose not to see each other prior to the ceremony and emotion and excitement was felt by all as Andrea walked down the aisle.  After the ceremony, we hopped on school buses and captured a few images image in Alki before hearing to Discovery Park in Magnolia.  Discovery Park is by far one of my favorite photo locations in Seattle.  The magnificent fields, old buildings and beach make such outstanding backdrops for images.  The reception at Daybreak Star Indian Cultural Center followed.  Enjoy my favorites and the rest of the story below!

LAUREL & STEVE | WEDDING | BELL HARBOR EVENTS CENTER, PIER 66 | SEATTLE, WA

Adjectives: Fun, Happy, Sunny, Loving, Colorful, Open and Real.

Laurel and Steve’s wedding was incredible. The ladies started out the morning at the Pensione Nichols, a wonderful bed and breakfast filled with tons of character, a few blocks away from Pike Place Market.  The guys got ready on Bainbridge Island and took the ferry over to Seattle.  We captured their first look at the Pike Place Market before heading down to the Bell Harbor Events Center for their ceremony and reception.  It was a magnificent and sunny Seattle day, and the roof top ceremony was just gorgeous.  During their reception, we snuck away to capture a few images of the bride and groom at twilight.  We then stumbled upon a flash mob dinner (see below) on Pier 62, and the group had just lit up sparklers, which allowed for even more great pics! The moment was perfect, like the stars had aligned, just for Laurel and Steve!
